Hello! I’m Catherine.

I have been living in France for 20 years. 
I began my teaching career in the UK where I worked for 4 years teaching French in secondary schools.

When I arrived in France I began teaching English to adult learners. I went on to train and qualify as a Montessori teacher. For the past 10 years I have been working in Montessori Schools (with children aged 3-9) and running creative language workshops for bilingual children (aged 6-10), whilst continuing to teach adult learners in one-to-one lessons.

I am a language lover!
I studied Linguistics and French at Leeds University and obtained my teaching qualification (PGCE) at The University of Sussex. I have a Postgraduate diploma in Translation Studies from Portsmouth University.

My aim is for you to enjoy learning!
I support, encourage, and guide you on your learning journey. I adjust my teaching approach to meet your needs and I focus on helping you to acquire the skills that are most important to you.
