My children, aged 8 and 9, have worked with Catherine for several years. They love the Kamishibai workshops in English: inventing stories and illustrations, then reading them to the group. They really appreciate Catherine’s patience and her gentle manner.
We all appreciate Catherine, our English teacher. She works with teaching materials within the class and with her own material: language cards, puppets, books, Kamishibai stories created with the children, arts and crafts, cooking… all in English. She is very well liked by both the children and her colleagues.
Learning English with Catherine is more than a simple language lesson. Her kindness, sensitivity, and capacity to listen, create a space where I feel accepted and welcomed. Her bright outlook and non-judging attitude help move beyond any mental blocks and make the learning process smooth and enjoyable.
